Gujarat
Maritime Board (GMB) invites the proposals for Expression of
Interest (EoI) for development of the ports on Greenfield
sites on Build-Own-Operate and Transfer (BOOT) basis.
This notice
is issued only to elicit an EoI from firms interested in the
development of ports and does not constitute any binding
commitment from GMB to invite any or all the FIRMS in the
subsequent bidding process.

Ports sites
to be developed through private sector participation.
(1.) Vansi Borsi. ( 2.) Mithivirdi ( 3.) Simar. (4)
Maroli

Port site
to be developed through Joint/Public Sector participation.
(1.) Bedi.
Gujarat
Maritime Board had completed technical feasibility studies
for all the above mentioned port locations under (A) and
Detailed Project Studies for the Port location under (B)
above through reputed International Consultants, in the year
1996-97.
Interested enterprise may be a firm company, Joint Venture
or consortium of Indian or Foreign origin, possessing
financial and managerial capabilities of Port development,
port Management, stevedoring export/import trade and captive
cargoes.

Last date for submission of EoI: 30th April 2004
Above date has been extended upto 15th October 2004
Above date has been extended upto 31st March 2005
Interested parties may submit their EoI (one original & one
copy) with following supportive documents/papers, separately
for each port locations as above.

Details of
Firm including annual turn over, field of experience, with
supporting documents.

Name and
address along with contact person(s) and contact details.

Back ground
of firm and copies of last two annual reports of the
firm/company including details of major similar types of
project undertaken/undertaking in the immediate last
5(five) years.
After
assessing the response from the firms/companies, a detailed
"request for pre-qualification" will be formulated and
issued to short listed parties responding to this EoI.
