GUIDELINES FOR OBTAINING ENVIRONMENT CLEARANCE UNDER CRZ NOTIFICATION NO. SO-114(E) DATED 19TH FEBRUARY, 1991
AND ITS SUBSEQUENT AMENDMENTS.
For getting clearance under CRZ Notification from Government of Gujarat, an applicant is expected to furnish the following information along with his proposal to Forest & Environment Department.

Air pollution and W/W treatment facilities along with quality, quantity and mode of disposal.

Solid Waste Disposal.

Sewage Discharge/Disposal System.

Impacts of proposed project activity on each included in baseline information.

Impacts during construction period of proposed project along with a time duration and nature (e.g. reversible or irreversible etc.)

Impacts during operation, handling and maintenance of the activities on different environmental attributes.

Impacts of different activities (like pipeline laying, water extraction, W/W -treated or un-treated discharge in Sea / River/ Creek etc.) on marine environment and flora fauna, soil / land and other attributes.

Impact due to movement of ships on marine environment and coastal flora and fauna.

Chances of any type of accidents and their impacts on environment.

Measurement/scaling and prediction of level of different impacts of different environmental attributes (quantification).

Mitigation
measures;
-
Based on the above scales, the mitigation measure proposed.

Assurance/undertaking from the management that there will be implementation of mitigation measures.

Environmental Management Plan including emergency response plan for spills, leakages, including that of oil.
-
Fishing and fish breeding area in 10 km. radius from the site/jetty.
-
Plan for monitoring along with environmental audit periodically.
-
Plan for improvement/ re-generation of environment.
