The above quote very beautifully and efficiently captured the feelings of officials of Gujarat Maritime Board on January 27, 2012 – the day of farewell of Shri B. K. Sinha, IAS who was spearheading Gujarat Maritime Board as a Chairman. A small farewell ceremony was held in the Board room of Gujarat Maritime Board. It was a happy coincidence for us that other Board members of GMB were also present during the ceremony.
Officials of GMB shared their pleasant experiences of interaction with Mr. Sinha stating the support and guidance that he provided during his tenure as the Chairman of Gujarat Maritime Board. A mutual feeling amongst the officers of GMB was the synergy created between Gujarat Maritime Board and Government during his stint as the head of GMB.
GMB bid adieu to Mr. Sinha with a heavy heart wishing him a healthy life post retirement.
